I had an electrical issue with the Service Line. Now my A/C will NOT operate, just pops breaker. Is there a Fusible Link that would cause a direct short?

I just returned from a three week trip to Yellowstone and Glacier NPs. I live on the east coast and having to drive through Indiana, Ohio and Illinois is a real hardship. How can you smooth the ride to prevent the hard bouncing on road joints, bridge expansion joints, etc. My unit has air springs which I was told to keep 50-60 psi for the most comfort. With that much pressure, I’m hesitant to use the leveling jacks.

I’ve had an issue with my slides (all three of them) not working. It apparently is a solenoid or something like that which cuts off power to all slides. My work-around is to apply 12 V of power to the slides circuit via an external battery source. I’d love to replace the faulty electrical component, if I can only find it. But once the external 12 V as applied the problem goes away and cannot be discerned Or detected until it happens again. Does any One have any thoughts about identifying and repairing this problem?

Our unit has air bag assist for the rear suspension. I was told it should be kept at 90 lbs when travelling. How will I know if it is not at a proper pressure? There are air valves at each of the rear wheel wells for adding air.
    Thank you.

I am looking at a 2002 diesel Bounder with a Cummins 400hp engine and Allison transmission. All interior appliances have been replaced and the engine only has 60k miles. Can you comment on the potential downsides of buying an older diesel…..such as resale value in a couple of years, availability of parts or any other concerns you feel one should be aware of. Thank you!

RV Make: Tiffin, RV Model: Wayfarer 25', RV Year: 2018, Brand: Lead acid batteries??

I have previously run my Norcold refrigerator on electric while driving and then when stopped, it auto sets to propane. I just did a 900 mile trip and when I arrived everything seemed okay, except that the next morning I discovered that there was no power from the house batteries. Nothing would work. Only after I started up the Mercedes diesel, would the Norcold start up with the gas. Also, the Onan 3200 would not start unless I turned on the Mercedes engine. At this time, I can’t get any electric to work off the batteries. Even the normal display is dead. Nothing works unless I turn on the generator. The generator won’t start without starting the engine. I have not yet checked anything to begin to determine what the problem maybe. Haven’t checked any fuses, haven’t tested the batteries, but I did run the generator for four hours to see if it would recharge the batteries and likewise, ran another 900 miles on the way back home.
    Any suggestions??

I am towing a 5th wheel with a 2017 F250 Super Duty 4WD. I am using an Anderson hitch. In order to clear the side rails on my truck I need to raise the Anderson hitch to maximum hiegth. This appears to transfer trailer load to the rear axle. The dealer was not helpful. What angle of the trailer is safe weight distribution

This is a new rig for us. The freshwater tank was leaking. I looked underneath and found two tubes about 3/4 inch in diameter and two to three inches long. The water was coming out of one of the tubes. The manual says there is a shut off valve to drain the freshwater tank. I think the valve is open, but I cannot find the valve. The manual says it is under the ice maker, but we do not have an ice maker. Can you tell me where to find the valve? Thanks.

Had to have my interior removed from the driver side to replace window that was broken out on the highway. Alter repair and a number of trips to the repair shop still have some strange problems the biggie is the house batteries not charging while attached to land electrical, have found loose wires, parts under the cabinets, screws out of frig and micro mounts. The display panel will show batteries fully charged while they are very low on voltage, sometimes the coach will charge while traveling but not always.

Generic question: Portable propane tank (20-25lb) appears full but no gas will come out. Might it be overfilled? I’ve been told such a problem might be due to a stuck float valve inside — and that it just needs to be “shaken loose” Not something I’m comfortable with trying…

We recently purchased a Coleman light 2018 2605. We had it out a couple weeks ago and temperatures were in the 90’s. We were unable to get camper comfortable. We are discussing moving the 13,500 btu ac unit to the back and adding a new 15000 to living area. Our camper is set up for 50 amp but not all sites have 50 amp available. Will the upgrade be worth the cost?
