So, your reply means it’s a secret as to location of waterfall??

Where exactly is that “river on the edge of town”? Yes, there is a river all right. However the falls pictured don’t look like any I’ve ever seen in or near Missoula.
Thanks, William

Like Sue, I enjoy the miles and miles of bike trails, moderate to challenging mountain hikes, float fishing, and incredibly long balmy summer nights, but this California girl cannot abide the snow and cold of winter (it’s April and it just snowed there again!) RV parks abound in the areas around Missoula, but they are often booked months in advance. The old inexpensive ones near the fairgrounds have been gone for decades. The drive to Flathead Lake usually offers a last minute spot, but it’s a long drive back to Missoula. It’s a very collegiate town, which helps explain why it’s the most politically liberal city in the state. Be aware that the city itself is not very RV friendly. Shopping centers are specifically designed for nothing larger than a pickup (and a small one at that). Be aware that the Costco there is definitely NOT RV friendly and can trap a large rig (yes, we had to unhook the toad to escape).

Really? Who paid for that advertisement??? If you had mentioned Glacier I would have said you have a winning list but Missoula??? How could you pick that over Glacier???
