    You can also get a bottle of peppermint oil and cotton balls place them under all under sinks and corners and anywhere you've seen evidence of mice. Even in the back of food storage cabinets, they will be gone real soon.

    Another thing to check for high-power electrical issues, like the slides, is the connections and cables from the batteries to the device. If there is a loose connection, either bolt-on connections or crimps on the terminals at the ends of the cables can cause a major loss of power and can be a safety issue because these loose connections can get very hot or catch on fire.
