With the advent of omnidirectional antennae such as the Air 360+ from Winegard, no-fuss TV reception on your RV is guaranteed almost anywhere in the nation. Never again do you have to climb onto your roof to fiddle with a batwing receiver to produce a decent picture. This is an especially great option when boondocking, as it’s simple and inexpensive.
Now you can also get reliable internet access with Winegard’s Gateway 4G LTE WiFi Router. This powerful and handy device is available as a supplement to the Air 360+, which comes pre-installed in many new RV models. These vehicles have a port already cut on the ceiling to make Gateway setup easy, so all you have to do is unbox, screw in, wire up, and turn on.
Dave Solberg walks you step-by-step through this quick process, demonstrating most importantly the wiring procedure. He also discusses some other vital things to remember for proper setup, including making sure the router is facing toward the front of your RV, and inserting the SIM card the correct way.
The Air 360+ Gateway comes with simple instructions, so between those and Dave’s demonstrations, you should have no trouble getting your Gateway up and running! Enjoy entertainment in the great outdoors, wherever you choose to travel, completely connected even when roughing it!
I just bought an open range mesa ridge that came with the antenna but not the router. Thanks for this video, it really helped me understand the router installation if/when I purchase the router. I understand how the wifi works but I don’t understand how it works as a tv antenna? In my old rv the old antenna would pull channels from a scan once I connected with coax, does this work the same way?

the wires coming from my ceiling are only 2…. one is solid white and the other is white with green. I purchased the Winegard gateway, but am lost as to where the power red and black wires are. We made the hole slightly bigger to feel around for it and cannot feel anything else up there. We have a 2022 Dutchman Astoria with the air 360 pre installed.

What color wire go to each other. Checking if I did it right .
Hi Michael. According to the install manual, the red wire is positive and the black is negative. The colors you are using on the RV could be different, there are no color codes. It could be red and black but if there is a colored wire with a white wire, the white is usually the negative. Here is the install diagram to help if needed:

I have a 2019 Thor Ace can I just replace my current antenna with the 360?
Hi Mark!
Here’s what our expert had to say about this: Yes you can. It will have the same standard coax to connect is as a regular antenna. It will have some other wires for the gateway if you want to install it but those can just be left in the ceiling if you don’t want to use them. The 360 fits great over the opening of the old antennas so there shouldn’t be an issue with installing it in place of the old unit.

We have the Windgard 360 plus .5 miles. How can I get it to reach 1 mile? My husband works out of the fifth wheel.
