Hello from Rossville, Georgia. I want to remodel the TINY water closet in my Class C. The walls are paper thin. What’s the best way to secure a new countertop to the wall?
All structural support has to be on the ground not the walls. Under the countertop you can adhere cleats and then screw the cleats to the wall but these are just used to keep it in place and to prevent the edges from moving down when weight is placed on it but since they are just going into 1/4″ paneling they can’t really be weight bearing. You will have to use styles or some other support to go to the ground for the support.
Sincerely,
Dan
