Do you have a generator and are you finding it more campgrounds that restricts them?
Hi Joseph!
Many campgrounds don’t allow them, mainly for the noise. Usually if the have electric hookup they don’t allow generator, even during a power outage. Most of the time it is because of the noise but many don’t allow it if it is a government owned park sometimes because of emission issues. Some don’t allow because of safety issues as well. They can create sparks out of the exhaust if not properly taken care of could start a fire in dry areas. You definitely have to check with campgrounds first. They are all different but it does seem to be more of them are banning the use these days.
Sincerely,
Dan RV Repair Club Technical Expert
