Many RVers don't like the constant rattle and the unevenness of some of these wire type shelves here. And they have a tendency to wanna put either aluminum foil over them or plastic. I see some people even put the non-skid stuff on here. When you're doing that, then you're keeping air flow from getting through the entire RV refrigerator. It's important that we keep these open.

And so that, we don't have just the hot up in the top, we're gonna start getting our fins, would start to freeze in there. Then our thermostat is gonna have a wrong reading into it. So, what you really need to do in something like this, is keep them open, maybe lay stuff down here, so it doesn't have a tendency to be as uneven, but keep the airflow going in this thing. You may wanna put one of the little nine volt fans, down in the bottom, just to keep that in. So, keep it nice and wide open.

It'll run more efficient.
