When putting your RV away for storage, a couple of tips in the refrigerator section is first of all you'll want to shut off the LP to the refrigerator. You can either do it right down here at the unit itself. I typically like to shut the LP off right at the tank when I put it in. Then if you got an ice maker in your unit, you'll definitely have to drain the water out of the ice maker and the supply line that comes into it. And then this is going to be in an area where it does have an open back on the side where the vent area is going to be at.

Then you could have some rodents get in there, so it's a good idea to put a little bit of deterrent. Whether it's bait or deterrent or whatever. A lot of people will like to take and since you're not using unit, you don't need to vent that area. Just put a sheet of plastic or some kind of a board right where that opening is at when you put your vent back in and that'll keep dust from coming in, and it'll keep rodents from coming in as well. Then on the inside, simply make sure it's soft.

Prop open the doors and then put a little box of baking soda in. Next spring when you bring your unit out, it'll be fresh, you won't have mold, and it will run more efficiently.
